MEET YOUR HOST and HOSTESS
Lalin and Garry Henderson are both enjoying their second retirement. Garry holds a PhD in geophysics, worked on the Apollo Program, was a Corporate Director of R&D for General Dynamics, retired as a Vice-President of UNISYS, then taught university and high school level math and physics. Lalin owned and operated a large, award-winning B&B in East Texas, then became a school librarian when they moved to the Big Bend area of far West Texas where Garry was raised on a ranch. They moved to Guanajuato in 2001. Between them, they have eight grown daughters and twelve grandchildren, all living in Texas. They know the Guanajuato area and are well known by both Mexican and foreign residents. . They have fallen in love with Mexico, it's people and their culture. Garry & Lalin have many exciting tales to share about their life in Mexico and other places they’ve lived and visited. Garry is especially noted for being an unofficial representative for the local Chamber of Commerce.
